About
Genavieve is currently a Senior Lecturer within the Subject Team of Information and Communication Management (ICM) within the School of Computing, Engineering and Information Sciences at Northumbria University in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Recently she began a part-time MA Design: Multimedia and Graphics at Sunderland University which she hopes to complete in 2009.
Genavieve joined the Subject of ICM in October 2001 after completing a BSc [Hons] Information and Communication Management [now Information Studies] within the department. In November 2005 she was successful in achieving a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice [PCAP] from Northumbria University.
She currently has responsibility for the Organisation Study Placement on the BSc [Hons] Information Studies Programme as well as being the IT Resources co-ordinator for the Subject Team.
Genavieve has a very keen interest in web page development, graphics design and web standards. Particular interests include markup languages and and multimedia applications. Currently she has ownership of the following modules and domains:
